About Us

Science for Everyone is a registered non-profit dedicated to advancing science literacy, understanding, and accessibility for everyone. Our goal is to advance our audience’s science literacy skills to be able to critically evaluate, disseminate, and make decisions based on scientific information in their daily lives.

We are a team of volunteers who work together to create products which cater to the audience’s various learning styles. We also conduct research to better understand our landscape, and seek continuous opportunities to expand our outreach.

    My name is Yumnah Jafri, and I am the Director of Projects at SfE. I have been part of SfE for the past four years and am currently pursuing my MSc in Nutrition at the University of Toronto. I am passionate about science communication and making complex scientific findings more digestible for the public.

    Through my role, I hope to expand SfE's reach and create more opportunities to engage with our local communities.

    Outside of academia, I enjoy reading and hitting the gym.
